  • _gid - this cookie name is associated with Google Universal Analytics. This appears to be a new cookie and as of Spring 2017 no information is available from Google. It appears to store and update a unique value for each page visited
  • _fbp - used by Facebook to deliver a series of advertisement products such as real time bidding from third party advertisersplayer
  • _ga - this cookie name is associated with Google Universal Analytics - which is a significant update to Google's more commonly used analytics service
  • _gcl_au - used by Google AdSense for experimenting with advertisement efficiency across websites using their services
  • continuous_play_v3 - this cookie keeps a booking engine running
Vimeo videos

We have embedded privacy-enhanced Vimeo videos on the site. Privacy-enhanced mode allows us to embed Vimeo videos without using cookies that track viewing behaviour. This means that when loading the page, no activity is collected to personalise the viewing experience. If a viewer clicks or taps to play the video, the following cookies are enabled:

  • vuid and player - these cookies are used by the Vimeo video player on websites
