Job: Projects Officer (Business Change)

Salary: £29,174 - £32,797 (Grade 8)

Location: Ansa Environmental Hub, Cledford Lane, Middlewich, Cheshire

Hours of work: 37 hours per week

Type of contract: 6 month, fixed term contract (or internal secondment opportunity) - may possibly be extended

Travel required: Yes – occasional (Cheshire East, Buxton and Leek)

Ansa Environmental Services Ltd is an environmental operations company wholly owned by Cheshire East Council. Its purpose is to provide waste collection, waste treatment and disposal, street cleansing, parks, grounds maintenance and fleet management services to Cheshire East Council and other partners.

An opportunity has arisen for a Projects Officer to join Ansa and support the delivery and implementation of a fleet management software system.  This will include working with a range of internal and external partners / clients. 

The post holder will have extensive ICT skills and experience of ICT systems implementation. This will include experience of User Acceptance Testing (UAT), issues resolution, user training and systems roll-out.

It is essential the post holder has well-developed interpersonal skills such as communication, negotiation, influencing and persuasiveness.  A strong track record of project management and successful delivery is essential. Experience of working in the environmental services industry and / or fleet services is desirable.
