Make sure your organisation is compliant by booking one of our driver briefings and assessments today!
16th January 2015
Organisations driving minibuses and any other type of vehicles for work are being urged to book their staff on a specialist driver briefing later this month to ensure that they are fully trained and compliant.
The sessions which are open to all potential and not previously assessed drivers (not only in Cheshire East) are being run by Ansa Environmental Services Ltd, a company owned and controlled by Cheshire East Council as part of the Council’s good working practices and driving at work policies.
The next briefing sessions will be as follows:-
- Municipal Buildings Crewe – 22nd January 2015 – 16.00 -17.00 hrs
- Macclesfield Town Hall – 27th January 2015 – 16.00 – 17.00 hrs
The cost of the briefing is just £15 per person and the assessment can be taken up to 12 months after the briefing for just £85, or £95 for the two if paid for in advance.
Kevin Melling, Managing Director at Ansa Environmental Services Ltd said, “Ansa Training can provide a wide range of training including Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC), Large Goods Vehicle (LGV), driving assessments, manual handling, abrasive wheels, trailer training and other bespoke courses.
“The driver briefings and assessments that we have held already have proved to be very popular therefore anyone who is interested should book their place now, alternatively we can arrange specific sessions for groups if required.”
Minibus or other vehicle drivers MUST attend the briefings before assessments can take place and candidates that attend will then have a maximum of twelve months to take their assessment.
Once the candidate passes, they will receive a card stating what class of vehicle they can drive that is recognised throughout all services and schools in Cheshire East. This accreditation will last for 5 years.
Anyone interested in booking a place MUST reserve their place in advance by calling 01270 371481 – sadly anyone who hasn’t booked in advance cannot be accepted on the day.
Also if any organisation (not just in Cheshire East) has 8 or more drivers who would like the briefing and assessment, Ansa can arrange a specific session at any location.
